**About the Job:**
We are looking for a highly motivated Global Safety Lead to join our team. As a key member of the Oncology Medical Safety organization, you will be responsible for providing expert safety input and contributing to the development of clinical trials.
Main Responsibilities:- Expert Safety Input: Provide expert safety input to clinical development programs and contribute to the development of clinical trials.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure robust safety evaluation and contribute to Novartis' overall success.
- Documentation and Record Keeping: Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping of medical safety activities for assigned compounds.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and respond to regulatory authority and healthcare professional inquiries regarding safety issues.
- Medical degree or equivalent is preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in Oncology.
- Minimum 7 years progressive experience in drug development, including 5 years in safety at a medical position.
- Strong experience in drug development, clinical trial methodology, and scientific writing.
