We are seeking an experienced Aviation Compliance Officer to join our team at Jet Aviation. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and maintaining the effectiveness and performance of quality systems for our managed fleet.

About the Role:

">

The Aviation Compliance Officer will work closely with the Director Quality Flight Services to oversee the day-to-day management of supporting Quality systems for Non-Commercial (NCC) and Air Operations Certificates (AOC). This includes ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, performing internal audits, and developing and maintaining Safety Management Systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Perform internal audits and investigations
  • Develop and maintain Safety Management Systems
  • Oversight of QMS personnel
  • Provide updates on aviation-related safety matters
  • Monitor and track internal and external safety reporting
  • Implement corrective actions
  • Coordinate with regulatory authorities
  • Support FDM Program maintenance
  • Close co-operation with department heads
  • Develop and exercise Emergency Response Plan
  • Consult with Regulatory Authorities and customer
  • Maintain records and archives

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in aviation or related field
  • Minimum 6 years' experience in aviation, including operational safety or compliance monitoring
  • Working knowledge of Risk and Change Management
  • Expert knowledge of SMS application and reporting
  • Experienced Auditor and Aviation Safety Investigator
  • HFACS and WHSE knowledge
