About the Role- This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Research Assistant, supporting our Ophthalmic Translational Research Group.
- You will be responsible for conducting molecular biology experiments, including cloning, DNA, RNA isolation, PCR, qPCR, and sample preparation for sequencing.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong background in molecular biology, excellent laboratory skills, and good communication abilities.
- You will work closely with our team to design, execute, and analyze experiments, as well as collaborate with other researchers and scientists.
- We value diversity and inclusion and welcome applications from candidates with diverse backgrounds and experiences.
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in molecular biology, biotechnology, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a research laboratory setting.
- Experience with molecular biology techniques, such as PCR, qPCR, and DNA sequencing.
- Strong laboratory skills, including ability to work with microscopes and other laboratory equipment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Familiarity with laboratory information management systems (LIMS).
