Job Title: Semiconductor Testing & Application Specialist

Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Semiconductor Testing & Application Specialist to join our team at HITACHI ENERGY LTD. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and performance of our cutting-edge semiconductor products.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive test specifications for verifying and qualifying power semiconductor components
  • Plan, execute, and analyze verification and qualification tests, ensuring product adherence to the highest standards
  • Create detailed test reports documenting test procedures, results, and insightful conclusions
  • Collaborate with customers to understand their specific needs and application requirements
  • Conduct specialized measurements based on customer requests, fostering strong relationships
  • Occasionally provide technical sales support, guiding customers on product usage and troubleshooting effectively
  • Conduct re-qualifications to maintain ongoing product quality and reliability
  • Partner with production teams to resolve any product-related issues efficiently

Your Background:

  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field
  • Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in semiconductor testing and application
  • Demonstrate a proven track record of developing and executing effective test plans
  • Have extensive experience in conducting rigorous verification and qualification tests
  • Possess excellent communication in English and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues and customers
  • Be fluent in German is a strong advantage
  • Demonstrate excellent social skills and the ability to build strong relationships
  • Show initiative and possess an entrepreneurial mindset
