We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mobile Software Engineer to join our international team at Sonova. With over 700,000 active users worldwide, our sophisticated mobile applications provide advanced access to our market-leading medical hearing aids.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Develop modern mobile applications in a medical context, collaborating with your team to create innovative solutions.
  • Drive high-quality development through best practices, including modern architectural patterns, coding standards, automated testing, and peer code review.
  • Create and maintain reusable software components across multiple applications, ensuring consistency and efficiency.
  • Support and collaborate with other mobile development teams, contributing to a common codebase and driving technical discussions.
  • Work closely with the Product Owner to refine user stories and product requirements, ensuring alignment with business goals.

Your Profile

  • Hold a degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Have 5+ years of professional experience in iOS mobile development, with strong expertise in Swift and solid skills in Objective-C.
  • Be proficient in Git-based version control and distributed development workflows.
  • Have a strong understanding of architecture components, clean architecture, OOP, and experience with BLE.
  • Be experienced in agile development practices and able to support non-technical stakeholders.
  • Be a solution-oriented, positive thinker with excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Be fluent in written and spoken English, with German being a plus.
