Software Engineer for Testing Infrastructure

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join our R&D team at Sonova AG. As a Software Engineer for Testing Infrastructure, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining tools and testing environments related to hardware.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with firmware developers to debug issues with hardware and tools
- Design and develop tools and testing environments for hardware
- Ensure that various teams within Sonova R&D can effectively use hardware for firmware testing
- Coordinate the distribution of new hardware to R&D teams globally
Requirements
- Bachelor or Master's degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or a related technical field
- Experience with hardware and measurement equipment
- Understanding of best practices and state-of-the-art in software development processes
- Knowledge of PCB schematic design, Python, and Groovy for tests and test environments
- Experience with communication protocols and trace analysis is a plus
- Experience in embedded software development is a plus
- Fluent in English; German is a plus
