About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Lead Pharmaceutical Statistician to join our team in Basel, Switzerland. As a key member of our synthetic molecule development group, you will play a critical role in designing and analyzing experiments, developing statistical models, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and improve product quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute experiments to support synthetic molecule development, including process characterization, validation, and transfer
  • Develop and apply advanced statistical methods and software (e.g., R and JMP) for data analysis and modeling
  • Collaborate with chemists, pharmaceutical R&D professionals, and regulatory affairs experts to ensure compliance with industry standards and guidelines
  • Communicate complex statistical concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders and promote statistical thinking throughout the organization

Requirements:

  • Master or PhD in Statistics, Biostatistics, Mathematics, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a closely related field
  • Advanced proficiency in statistical analysis and software (e.g., R and JMP)
  • Extensive experience in designing experiments and data analysis (e.g., linear mixed models)
  • Expertise in interpreting complex datasets and deriving meaningful insights
  • Proven ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams and collaborate with professionals from various backgrounds
