EHS and Compliance Lead

We are seeking an experienced EHS and Compliance Lead to join our team in Switzerland. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading our EHS activities and ensuring compliance with regulatory and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the EHS and Compliance team to meet regulatory and industry standards' requirements to prevent incidents and ensure compliance.
- Monitor current and potential environment, safety, and health risks.
- Develop and implement mitigation actions and programs to improve EHS and Engineering compliance performance.
- Owning the EHS program for offices-based employees in the country.
- Executing Duty holding roles and building capabilities within the Subject Matter Experts and the dotted lines safety champions across the campus.
- Leading, testing, and improving site crisis management and business continuity programs.
- Managing Occupational Health Management Services.
- Designing and managing Site Wellbeing initiatives and programs in partnership with HR.
- Science/Engineering degree with ideally an STPS certification.
- Minimum of 10 years' experience in EHS and risk management, preferably in pharmaceutical manufacturing or chemical manufacturing.
- Senior stakeholders' management at a country level and at a Global level.
- Understanding of chemical properties, manufacturing techniques, and ability to assess risks and formulate strategies to prevent incidents.
- Strong influencing skills at all levels, including ability to use business understanding to influence senior management decisions.
- English and French language skills.
- Comprehensive knowledge and application of EHS Legislation, Industry codes of practice, and company's standards.
- Skilled in problem-solving and decision-making, with ability to deal with complex and difficult problems.
- Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
- Systematic and process-oriented approach to work.
