Role Overview
CERN, the European Organization for Nuclear Research, is seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst to join its Product Design team. As a Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in liaising between product management, business partners, and end-users to drive business growth and improvement.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and prioritize business requirements;
- Draw and analyze business processes and systems to identify areas for improvement and optimization;
- Develop and maintain business process documentation, including process flows and user requirements;
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators to track progress towards organizational goals.
- Strong understanding of business modeling concepts and the ability to translate requirements into practical solutions;
- Analytical mindset with the ability to gather, analyze, and interpret data for actionable insights;
- Proactive problem-solving skills, with the ability to address technical challenges and provide effective solutions;
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams and to present and justify designs;
- Capability to work autonomously while effectively managing multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to deadlines, and adapting to changing priorities;
- Familiarity with UX principles and methodologies would be advantageous in this role;
- Fluent in English, the ability to work in French would be an advantage.
- You are a national of a country;
- You have a professional background in Software Engineering, Business Analysis (or a related field) and have either:a Master's degree with 2 to 6 years of post-graduation professional experience;or a PhD with no more than 3 years of post-graduation professional experience;
- You have never had a CERN fellow or graduate contract before.
