Key Account Business Developer for Retail Excellence

Unlocking Growth in the DACH Region

We are seeking a highly skilled Key Account Business Developer to join our Retail Sales Team DACH. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving significant new business opportunities across the NIQ & GfK portfolio within the DACH region.

Job Overview

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing revenue targets and delivering strong results against KPIs. You will be responsible for achieving quarterly sales targets by identifying and driving new business opportunities to add incremental revenues for our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop a strategic understanding of our retailer's industry, business, markets, and clusters.
  • Drive client growth through expanding our client base among the Retail Industry and establishing a strong understanding of the client's business.
  • Strategic business development focusing on top Retailers across the DACH region, leveraging the entire NIQ & GfK portfolio with the aim of growing revenue/services across our solutions and brands.
  • Identifying new key stakeholders across the buying centers of existing Retail Partners and Key Prospects and introducing our services and benefits.
  • Managing larger RFPs from need assessment to pitch presentations, all the way to negotiation and closing larger deals.
  • Proactively win Retailers currently not benefiting from our strong assets and also WIN key Retailers to our Retail Partner Program.
  • Increase penetration of the NIQ/GFK solution portfolio and seek strategic alliances leveraging partnerships with third parties.
  • Champion of our key assets or for providing integrated solutions for one of the most relevant business questions.
  • Building a network of effective and meaningful relationships at all levels, both internally and externally, to maximize business opportunities.
Requirements:
  • Fluency in German and English.
  • Proven track record of managing revenue targets, with a strong desire to consistently overachieve against both personal targets and objectives.
  • Sales experience with a proven track record of delivering strong results against revenue targets and KPIs.
  • Retail Expertise.
  • Strong Communication and Time-Management skills.
