Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced IT Application Manager to join our team as a Global System Owner and System Administrator for multiple applications. The successful candidate will lead the evaluation of new applications and upgrades, ensure the applications perform as expected by the business, and manage outsourced support.
Main Responsibilities- Global System Owner and System Administrator: Act as the single point of contact for suppliers and key users of the applications, ensuring that security and privacy requirements are respected.
- Application Evaluation and Upgrade: Lead the evaluation of new applications and upgrades together with the service provider, site IT departments, and business key users.
- Application Support and Troubleshooting: Provide support and troubleshooting for the applications, ensuring they perform as expected by the business.
- Outsourced Support Management: Manage and follow up on outsourced support to ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Training and Qualification: Establish training programs as necessary for key-users and ensure the qualification and validation activities for global GxP applications.
- Security and Compliance: Ensure that security and privacy requirements are respected, with support from global IT security, service providers, and local IT departments.
- Audit Support: Act as the point of contact in case of audits.
- Education: Degree in IT, technical, or technical field with skills and experience in managing IT.
- Experience: Advanced experience with various IT applications in an industry, such as Open Lab ECM, Salesforce, Tagetik, Evisort, Interflex. Experience in networking is a plus.
- Leadership: Experience in leading IT projects and project team members.
- Industry Experience: Several years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical industry, including qualification and validation activities, is considered a plus.
- Soft Skills: Self-starter, goal-oriented, able to work to deadlines, and motivate.
- Commitment: High level of commitment and willingness to perform.
