Job Summary

We are seeking a talented Water Conservation Specialist to join our team at Xylem Water Solutions. As an EHS Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring safety, environmental compliance and risk management, supporting the Swiss Teams.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide technical advice and support to the country MD, line management and employees on water conservation best practices.
  • Implement the EHS Strategy and EHS targets based on Regional and Corporate demands, focusing on water efficiency initiatives.
  • Operate as an EHS role model and lead by example via Visible Felt Leadership, promoting a safety-first culture.
  • Plan and execute Gemba Walks and ACS 365 safety dialogues for all locations to identify areas for improvement, take action and develop the safety mindset.
  • Deliver risk and safety awareness training for field-based managers, team leads and technicians on water-related hazards.
  • Ensure the effective implementation of EHS programs and safety campaigns related to water conservation.
  • Develop, establish and strengthen the Integrated Management System (IMS), incorporating water conservation principles.
  • Workflow of incidents reported in EHS IT Reporting Tool to include report creation, investigation, correct actions, lessons learned, closure and distribution as required.
  • Plan, manage, execute and the Country Annual Inspection Program, ensuring that all actions are closed in a timely manner.
  • Support ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 internal and external audits, focusing on water-related non-conformities, observations, and areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Completed studies or vocational training in the field of EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) or technology, with a focus on water conservation.
  • Practical experience in field service activities with a focus on customer orientation, including water-related tasks.
  • Knowledge of EHS IT reporting tools and water conservation software.
  • IT literate to include Microsoft business applications, with expertise in water-related data analysis.
  • A valid driving license, with medical fitness to carry out site inspections, visits and Gemba Walks.
