Internal Auditor Fund Industry Specialist

coni + partner AG, a consultancy company with headquarters in Zurich and subsidiaries in Düsseldorf and Shanghai, is seeking an experienced Internal Auditor to join their team.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will provide independent and objective assurance and consulting activities to improve the company's operations. They will lead and perform assigned internal audit projects in small teams, from planning to reporting, including quality assurance and special projects.
Main Responsibilities- Identify and evaluate business risks and improvement opportunities by utilizing best practices
- Appraise the appropriateness of internal controls, processes, procedures, and systems
- Assess and test operating units' adherence to group guidelines, instructions, laws, and regulations and internal control standards
- Contribute to the development of internal audit operations and infrastructure
- Apply risk management techniques and develop the annual integrated and risk-based audit plan
Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with internal stakeholders, developing audit staff on assignments to ensure they meet their full potential, and minimal travelling (5%).
RequirementsThe ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Economics and hold professional certifications such as CIA, CISA, CPA, or CFA. They must also have several years of experience in auditing, risk management, internal control, accounting, financial controlling, and/or asset management/investment funds.
A strong understanding of current internal audit and risk management concepts and practices is essential, as well as experience in IT and ERP systems. The candidate should be self-motivated, have strong team orientation, and possess highly developed conceptual and analytical skills.
They should also be able to think and act independently, maintain a clear overview of risk management issues affecting the organisation, and have personal and professional demeanor that engages and inspires confidence in others.
Salary and BenefitsThe estimated salary for this role is CHF 120,000 - 150,000 per year, depending on experience. The company offers a range of benefits, including professional development opportunities, a dynamic work environment, and a competitive compensation package.
