About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced legal professional to join our team as Head of Legal EMEA. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing strategic legal support to our EMEA region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive legal strategy for the EMEA region, ensuring alignment with the company's overall business objectives.
  • Provide expert legal advice and guidance to our EMEA leadership team, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Manage and coordinate the work of external counsel, ensuring effective and efficient delivery of legal services.
  • Collaborate with our commercial teams to develop and implement business-relevant contracts, ensuring maximum protection of our assets and mitigation of key risks.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including our EMEA leadership team, external counsel, and other business partners.
  • Stay up-to-date with all relevant laws and regulations affecting our EMEA operations, providing timely and effective advice to our leadership team.

About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced legal professional with a strong track record of providing strategic legal support to complex business operations. You will have a deep understanding of the legal requirements for EMEA market activities and be able to provide expert advice and guidance to our leadership team.

Requirements

  • University degree in law or a related field.
  • Minimum 12 years of professional experience in providing cutting-edge legal support for geography/market activities in brand-intensive industries.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to think strategically.
  • Excellent English proficiency, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in other languages will be an asset.
