Job Description

The HR & Benefits Administrator will be responsible for administering employee sick leave requests, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations. This will involve maintaining accurate tracking of leave balances and assessing impacts on annual leave accrual. The successful candidate will also serve as the main contact for sick leave inquiries, providing guidance to employees, managers, and HR teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer employee sick leave requests
  • Maintain accurate tracking of leave balances
  • Serve as the main contact for sick leave inquiries
  • Coordinate with healthcare providers and HR
  • Manage documentation for long-term sick leave cases
  • Oversight of cost center management for long-term absences
  • Generate reports on sick leave trends and costs
  • Lead the reconciliation of sick leave payments and insurance reimbursements
  • Resolve discrepancies and document findings
  • Develop and maintain SOPs

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in employee benefits administration and absence management, preferably within Human Resources. They should have a strong background in compensation, benefits, and payroll, with excellent data analysis and cost modeling skills. Proficiency in Excel is essential for managing and reporting on large datasets.

The successful applicant will possess a collaborative mindset, excellent service orientation, and interpersonal skills. They should be able to handle confidential information with integrity, discretion, and empathy. Experience collaborating with external stakeholders such as insurance providers and payroll vendors is highly desirable.
