Job Overview



We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Platform Engineer to join our team at Taurus SA. As a key member of our infrastructure department, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and managing large-scale infrastructure systems.



Key Responsibilities


  • Design and implement cost-effective, scalable infrastructure systems, including cloud services, networking, and storage solutions.
  • Ensure production environments are always up and running efficiently, guaranteeing availability, efficiency, monitoring, alerting, resilience, and on-call support.
  • Develop and manage automation scripts, monitoring tools, and incident management processes to ensure seamless operation.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and teams to provide creative solutions, deliver successful implementations, and offer resilient and high-quality services.


Requirements


  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in operating services in complex and demanding environments and organizations, preferably in financial services.
  • Deep understanding of SRE principles and practices, including automation, monitoring, performance tuning, and incident management.
  • Proven knowledge of modern DevOps tooling, including Linux, Kubernetes, Openshift, Docker, Ansible, Terraform, Python, YAML, and Shell.
  • Proven experience in various DevOps build and testing processes, releases management, and product lifecycle management.
  • Ability to plan, deploy, and operate both simple and complex solutions, integrating them into existing production environments.
  • Knowledge/experience in database manipulation (SQL) and software development, preferably in Go, Java, or Python.
  • Impeccable written and verbal communication skills.
  • Eager to learn, highly focused on the target, team results-oriented.
  • Experience in leading, managing, and organizing teams of engineers is a plus.
