Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Specialist to join our team at Freudenberg. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Documentation and Communication: Develop and maintain accurate documentation of production processes and lessons learned, and communicate effectively with all support functions to ensure seamless collaboration.
• Standard Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and refine standards and instructions, ensuring compliance with best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Machine Commissioning: Assist in the commissioning of new equipment and processes, ensuring timely and efficient implementation.
• Series Production: Support the transfer of new start-ups to series production, ensuring high-quality output and efficient production workflows.
• CIP Measures: Implement Continuous Improvement Projects (CIP) to drive process efficiency and quality improvements.
• Quality and Cycle Time Optimization: Focus on improving quality and reducing cycle times, ensuring compliance with customer requirements and regulatory standards.
• Best Practice Implementation: Ensure adherence to best practice working methods across all shifts, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
• Team Leadership: Provide initial instruction and guidance to team leaders, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to lead their teams effectively.
• Daily Coordination: Collaborate daily with support functions to ensure seamless communication and coordination.

Requirements:

• Education: Training as an industrial foreman in metal or as a technician (f/m/d)
• Experience: At least 3 years of professional experience in a manufacturing or production environment
• Skills: Knowledge of assembly processes, occupational safety, and systematic problem-solving
• Management Responsibility: Proven management responsibility and business management thinking
• Language Skills: Fluent written and spoken German and English
• Technical Skills: MS Office and SAP knowledge, working with MES systems
