About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our Client Accounting team within the Reporting Services unit of Banking Operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing client relationships, performing daily accounting tasks, and ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage client relationships for account production and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Perform daily booking and monitoring of accounting entries to general ledger journals, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Undertake periodical closing activities, prepare and review financial statements, NAV calculations, tax and investor reports.
  • Provide support to Pictet relationship managers in client acquisition and coordinate interactions with auditors.
  • Actively contribute to continuous service level/process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Participate in Client Accounting projects, such as implementing new accounting systems.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

A graduated accountant (Federal Diploma) degree or equivalent.At least 10 years of experience as a financial accountant with a proven track record in the financial sector.Strong understanding of financial products, including equities, fixed income, derivatives, and alternative investments.Excellent IT skills, with proficiency in Excel and VBA.Fluency in Swiss German or German, with a good level of French and English.Must be resident in Switzerland or willing to relocate.

Salary

The estimated salary for this role is CHF 120,000 - 150,000 per annum, depending on experience.
