Mission Statement:

Axepta SA seeks a highly skilled Senior Organic Synthesis Chemist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in organic chemistry and experience in designing and optimizing chemical synthesis routes.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and optimize chemical synthesis routes to meet scalability, sustainability, and cost-effectiveness goals.
  • Plan and execute organic reactions in the laboratory, utilizing a range of synthetic and purification techniques.
  • Employ analytical techniques to analyze reactions and samples, including TLC, IR, GC, LC, NMR, and MS.
  • Optimize chemical processes and workflows to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Develop and implement effective protocols for scientific data and progress reporting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals and objectives.

Requirements:

  • PhD or MS in Organic Chemistry or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of theoretical and practical organic chemistry and organic synthesis.
  • Experience in a modern chemical laboratory environment, with expertise in purification techniques.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently.
  • Advanced skills in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
