The Role

We are looking for a highly motivated Social & Community Engagement Officer to join our corporate Communications & Donor Relations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive social media strategy that supports Cagi's objectives and engagement goals with the international peace and security community.

The key areas of operation include:

  • Designing and implementing a social media strategy that aligns with Cagi's overall goals and objectives.
  • Creating engaging content tailored for various social media platforms (stories, videos, infographics etc.) that communicates our impact and maintains brand consistency.
  • Managing the social media content calendar, ensuring timely posts and campaigns.
  • Collaborating with teams across Cagi to plan and develop content to promote their projects and activities.
  • Tracking and analyzing social media content and digital campaign results, adjusting targeting and content to increase reach, engagement, and conversions.
  • Staying updated with social media trends and best practices to keep strategies innovative and competitive.
  • Creating and publishing the monthly Cagi newsletter.
  • Measuring and analyzing the newsletter performance to maintain high levels of engagement with Cagi's community and support the newsletter's growth.
  • Providing support to the internal network of communicators with new ideas and best practices for content creation and promotion of their work.

In addition to these responsibilities, the ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, including video/photo editing, graphic design, and proficiency in the Adobe Suite. A valid work permit for Switzerland (or Swiss/EU citizenship) at the time of application is also required.
