Next-Link: Seeking a Skilled Python AWS Developer

We are looking for a highly experienced Python developer with a strong background in AWS development to join our team at Next-Link. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of software engineering principles, data structures, and algorithms, as well as experience in building and maintaining applications in the AWS environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop scalable, efficient, and maintainable Python-based applications using AWS services such as ECS, S3, RDS, API Gateway, and Lambda.
  • Implement automated testing methodologies, including unit and integration testing, using testing frameworks like PyTest or Unittest.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, with experience in other platforms like Jenkins or GitHub.
  • Familiarity with Terraform for infrastructure as code (IaC) to create, change, and improve infrastructure safely and predictably.
  • Produce clear and comprehensive documentation, including technical documentation, API documentation, and user guides.

Requirements:

  • Multiple years of software engineering experience, specifically in developing Python-based applications.
  • Deep understanding of data structures, algorithms, and designing for performance, scalability, and availability.
  • Proven ability in building and maintaining applications in the AWS environment.
  • Expertise in automated testing methodologies and CI/CD principles.
  • Familiarity with Terraform and infrastructure as code (IaC).
