Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our analytics and business intelligence efforts. As the Head of Analytics and Business Intelligence, you will develop, implement, and manage data-driven strategies that provide meaningful and reliable insights to decision-makers across the Group, Divisions, and Operations.
Key Responsibilities- Define and develop the Group's analytics and BI strategy in collaboration with the business, IT, and Master Data Management.
- Centralize various BI efforts and resources across the Group under a unified management structure, leading to increased efficiency and competence.
- Lead and develop a strong team of data analysts, data engineers, and developers.
- Coordinate and monitor the analytics and BI project portfolio to ensure delivery on time, to budget, and to defined scope, including responsibility for budget setting.
- Improve the efficiency and effectiveness of existing BI processes and data management.
- Take advantage of technological developments by selecting the right BI tools, technologies, and platforms.
- Budget responsibility for BI cost centre.
- Manage the relationships with stakeholders in different business functions.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in business administration, business informatics, or related fields.
- At least 5 years in a leadership role in data analytics or business intelligence, preferably in an industrial and international environment.
- Proven track record in project management.
- Experience with SAP BW4 / Data Warehouse, SAP Analytic Clouds (SAC), Power BI, and MS Office.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Affinity with business processes and driving business success through process improvement.
- Analytical mindset.
- Effective communication skills that enable collaboration across organizational levels and functions within the Group.
- Fluent in German and English.
