We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Certification Programme Director to lead the development and implementation of our Climate Neutral Certification Programme. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the programme's growth and credibility, as well as its international expansion through our global network and partnerships.
Key Responsibilities- Strategic Development: Oversee the development of a new version of the Theory of Change, the Standard, Assurance Protocol, Claims Policy, and other Core Programme Documents, ensuring a balance between ambition, scalability, credibility, and cost-efficiency.
- International Growth: Develop an international Business Development Plan, including marketing and sales strategies, in collaboration with Anthesis marketing and communities, as well as partners such as certification bodies and ISEAL members.
- Stakeholder Management: Engage in extensive dialogue with Anthesis leadership, internal and external stakeholders, and manage stakeholder feedback in line with the ISEAL Codes.
- Team Leadership: Build and lead a team of dedicated professionals, providing coaching and guidance to ensure the programme's success.
- Operational Tasks: Ensure consistent implementation of the Core Programme Documents, train and capacity-build stakeholders, improve the Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning System, and detect and address compliance issues.
- Leadership Experience: 10+ years of experience in a corporate or certification scheme environment, with a proven track record of leadership and programme development.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of corporate communications, public affairs, marketing, auditing, and certification, including ISEAL Code of Good Practice and ISO accreditation norms.
- Technical Expertise: Knowledge of GHG footprinting, Life Cycle Assessments, and green claims legislation.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication, relationship-building, and analytical skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
