We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Claims Manager to join our team in Geneva.
- Degree in law.
- 2 to 5 years of experience in claims management.
- Knowledge of maritime law or the shipping or transportation business world.
- Self-motivation.
- Ability to work in a stressful or demanding environment.
- Ability to work in a team and autonomously.
- Excellent knowledge of spoken and written English.
The Successful Applicant will be responsible for handling and investigating incidents and claims regarding cargoes, negotiating claim settlements with customers and third parties, and providing legal assistance as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify the origin of losses and inform concerned parties.
- Manage incidents with a view to mitigating losses and saving costs.
- Negotiate claim settlements with customers and different third parties.
- Provide legal assistance when necessary.
- Coordinate with insurers, experts, lawyers, and other internal departments.
The ideal candidate will have a degree in law, 2-5 years of experience in claims management, and knowledge of maritime law or the shipping industry.
