At the World Meteorological Organization, we are seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team in Geneva, Switzerland. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing project procurement plans and planning associated procurement actions. You will engage in consultations with requesting officers and provide advice on specifications, delivery dates, possible suppliers, and optimal procurement strategy.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of relevant professional experience in project procurement, procurement of IT and complex equipment, and logistics. Experience working with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and e-tendering systems is also desirable. Additionally, you should possess excellent knowledge of English, both oral and written, and proficiency in French is an asset.
This position offers an annual net base salary of $64,121 and an annual post adjustment of $56,683.
