Job Description

As a Procurement Strategist at Chain IQ, you will play a crucial role in developing and executing procurement strategies for professional services. You will work closely with our clients to understand their needs and provide expert advice on procurement best practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Tender Management: Lead the implementation of tender initiatives and contract negotiation as project lead via e-sourcing tools.
  • Supplier Relationship Management: Establish and maintain close relationships with internal and external business partners as well as vendors.
  • Strategic Sourcing: Collaborate on global procurement strategies and implement regional requirements.
  • Contracting and Onboarding: Provide key stakeholder support in the sourcing lifecycle, including drafting, contracting, on-boarding, negotiations, and operational tasks related to projects & requests.

We are looking for an experienced Indirect Procurement Specialist who can drive process efficiencies and cost savings for our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in indirect procurement and experience in managing complex vendor/client relationships.

Requirements:
  • Education: University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Supply Chain Management or equivalent.
  • Experience: Several years (> 8 years) of progressive experience in indirect procurement of professional services in an international (corporate) environment or in sales / BD at a global Professional Services firm.
  • Skills and Qualifications: In-depth experience in review, negotiation, and execution of contracts with vendors, understanding of how professional services contracts (incl. Master Service Agreements and Supply Orders) are scoped, structured, and cost controlled.
