Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced HR Operations Specialist to join our team at Medecins Sans Frontieres.

Salary

The estimated salary for this role is $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience and location.

Responsibilities
  • Implement effective internal communication policies and ensure timely HR reporting.
  • Foster a positive work environment by resolving labour conflicts and ensuring compliance with local labour laws.
  • Update the project's organisational chart and job descriptions, assisting with annual holiday planning and staff shifts.
  • Ensure accurate and fair remuneration based on the national salary structure.
  • Plan, supervise, and perform HR processes such as recruitment, training, briefings, evaluation, and development of staff.
  • Coordinate hiring, contract amendment, and termination formalities in accordance with local regulations.
  • Supervise payroll procedures and ensure accurate monthly salary calculations.
  • Manage logistical and administrative aspects of staff arrival, accommodation, relocation, and departure.
  • Train, supervise, and manage the administrative team, as well as assist with staff management across all departments.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum two years' relevant work experience in finance and human resources.
  • Strong IT skills, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Fluency in English and/or French.
  • Availability for a minimum of six months.
  • Commitment to MSF's work and values.
  • Strong team player with adaptability and diplomacy.
  • Ability to work in high-stress environments and train others effectively.
