About the Role
Pictet Alternative Advisors, a leading alternative investment specialist, is seeking a seasoned Real Estate Investment Manager to join its dynamic and growing multi-manager real estate team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for steering the development of the firm's real estate investment strategy, building strong relationships with private real estate managers, and identifying industry trends to drive investment decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the multi-manager real estate investment strategy, including identifying industry trends and performing research to build strong convictions.
- Sourcing, meeting, and selecting private real estate managers active across target regions and sectors.
- Presenting and defending investment recommendations to the investment committee.
- Performing due diligence and underwriting on funds, co-investments, and secondary opportunities.
- Monitoring existing investments and reporting key information.
- Running ad hoc analyses and answering clients' requests.
Requirements
- Advanced university degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of seven years' work experience in real estate, either through direct investments, fund investments, or investment banking.
- Proven analytical and logical thinking capabilities, with a keen eye for detail and focus on results.
- Outstanding spoken and written communication skills, with the ability to present and express convictions in a clear manner.
- Perfect command of English and at least one other European language (basic communication skills in French are a plus).
