Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Global Insights Manager to join our team. This role will work closely with Marketing to develop insights and identify opportunities for business growth domestically and internationally.

The successful candidate will proactively analyze consumer insights for priority Sazerac brands and Beverage Alcohol (BevAlc) categories using syndicated data, primary research, and market trends.

This information will drive actionable growth opportunities through brand development, innovation, renovation, expansion, new business development, and marketing strategy.

Main Responsibilities

  • Analyze sales and competitive trends, market and consumer trends, and syndicated data to define growth opportunities for Sazerac brands.
  • Lead primary consumer research to identify business opportunities related to brand growth, innovation, renovation, expansion, new business development, and marketing strategy.
  • Align individual priorities, time, and resource allocation by brand, country, and state.
  • Support the marketing team with market analysis, insight generation, and opportunity identification.
  • Provide insights to fuel compelling presentations to secure customer and distributor support.
  • Source, interpret, and apply marketplace and consumer learning and trends to influence category and brand strategies.
  • Drive an agile, analytically-driven approach to identifying and defining business opportunities for growth.
  • Collaborate with other functions to establish best practice approaches to insight generation and strategy development.
  • Develop tools, systems, and processes to create a Sazerac way of working for Business Intelligence and insight creation.

Requirements

  • 5-10 years of relevant experience (minimum)
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or commensurate experience
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at one time
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Working knowledge of MS Office Products (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
  • Strong analytical and technical skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA
  • Experience in the Alcohol Beverage Industry or Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG)
  • Fluency in German or Spanish language
