Job Summary

CSL is seeking a Senior Director to lead our Immunology Therapeutic Area team. As a key member of our Clinical Research and Development team, you will be responsible for developing and executing clinical development strategies for our immunology products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute clinical development strategies for immunology products, including Phase 2b/3 clinical trials.
  • Provide scientific and clinical development expertise to ensure the safe, efficient, and execution of assigned programs.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to develop and implement medical monitoring and oversight strategies for individual clinical studies.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement clinical development plans, including study protocols, informed consent forms, and clinical trial reports.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including regulatory agencies, investigators, and industry partners.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory requirements, and emerging technologies to ensure the company remains competitive.

Requirements

  • MD (Medical Doctor degree) or international equivalent from a recognized school of medicine plus accredited residency.
  • 2+ years minimum experience as a physician in patient care.
  • 5+ years pharmaceutical / biotechnology industry experience, of which 2 years include accountability for Phase 2b/3 clinical development programs.
  • Knowledge of the drug development process and clinical research methodologies, including experience in clinical trial design, data analysis/statistics, and data interpretation.
  • Experience addressing and managing complex medical issues in the pre-approval and post-approval environment.
