Laboratory Medicine Specialist

Your Key Responsibilities
- Validate and report on laboratory medical analyses in the field of hematology.
- Explain results and provide laboratory medical counseling for customers (hospitals, clinics, general practitioners, etc.).
- Co-manage a broad spectrum of hematology analyses with the opportunity to specialize further in one or more areas: routine analytics, flow cytometry, special coagulation, immunohematology, emergency analytics/blood bank in our hospital laboratories.
- Evaluate, introduce, monitor, and validate new laboratory testing procedures.
- Ensure timely, high-quality, and cost-effective services.
- Maintain and develop scientifically-based analytics in an accredited laboratory.
- Collaborate with the laboratory manager, marketing, and management.
- Actively participate in training and continuing education.
Your Profile
- You hold a completed FAMH training as a specialist in laboratory medicine with a focus on hematology.
- Additional FAMH and/or FMH training is an advantage.
- You possess a communicative personality with strong social skills.
- You are able to work in a team and collaborate constructively.
- You have a dynamic personality with a scientific interest.
- You possess excellent German or French skills, good knowledge of English.
