The Heritage Project Manager position at Piaget offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the preservation and promotion of the brand's rich heritage. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing the Piaget private collection, comprising historical timepieces, documents, designs, and other artifacts.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Manage the inventory, cataloguing, storage, and budgeting of all items within the Piaget private collection.
  2. Acquire new items for the collection, ensuring alignment with the brand's heritage strategy (including auctions monitoring).
  3. Develop and maintain a comprehensive database for all collection items, featuring detailed descriptions, story-telling, provenance information, images, and condition reports.
  4. Promote the Piaget heritage collection through various channels, including online platforms, social media, and public events.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in History, Art History, Museum Studies, or a related field.
  • Experience in heritage management, museum curation, auction houses, or a similar role, preferably within the luxury goods industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of horology and the history of watchmaking.
  • Strong understanding of collection management principles and best practices.
  • Excellent research, writing, and communication skills.
  • Fluency in English and French (written and spoken).
  • Proficiency in database management and digital asset management systems.
  • Soft skills required to work in a multinational environment, managing relationships with different functions and diverse cultures.
