About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial LNG Operations Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective management of the physical movement of goods, meeting all contractual obligations and regulatory requirements.
Main Responsibilities:
- Complete daily operational activities, including making voyage plans and checking product quality.
- Monitor progress of vessels during voyages and ensure timely invoicing/payment of cargoes.
- Handle storage logistics and complete storage reconciliations.
- Maximise recoveries and ensure accurate documentation and presentation of claims to third parties.
Key Requirements:
- At least 5 years' experience in cargo operations in a global oil trading company.
- Experience in working on LNG product desks.
- Understanding of technical aspects of LNG product and LNG shipping.
- Able to interpret operational requirements of each contract and review/comment on operational aspects.
- Good understanding of common ship operations and terminology.
