Global Resilience and Business Continuity Strategist

The Group Resilience, Crisis and Business Continuity Director will be responsible for defining and reinforcing the global resilience, crisis management and business continuity strategy for the Group. This includes the implementation of a dedicated approach, methodology, framework and principles. The role will also involve elaborating and maintaining policies, framework, guidance in the fields of Resilience, Crisis and Business Continuity Management to ensure ongoing compliance and awareness within the Group.
The Director will manage and lead the Group Resilience, Crisis & Business Continuity department, including people management, recruitment, development review and budget. They will oversee a portfolio of initiatives with Maisons, Regions and Entities to build up or maintain their desired level of crisis preparedness and business resilience. The role will also involve being an escalation instance for possible crises that can significantly impact our people, assets, reputation and key operations.
The Director will be an active member of the Group Crisis Management Team and act as a Crisis Coordinator, providing support to the crisis chairperson on driving an efficient crisis management team. They will have an overall overview of the situation, ensuring anticipation and communication with relevant stakeholders.
The Group Resilience, Crisis and Business Continuity Director will develop Crisis Management capabilities in each Maison, Region and Entity to support faster recovery in case of critical disruption. They will deploy a methodology and approach to identify, assess and monitor major crisis scenarios that can impact the Group, ensuring regular communication with relevant stakeholders.
The Director will train and create awareness at senior executive level on major crisis scenarios and the required level of preparedness. They will promote ongoing training and development in personal resilience for leaders to ensure sustained performance during crises or disruptions.
The Group Business Continuity Strategy will be created and owned by the Director, including identifying critical activities, performing high-level Business Impact Analysis, formalizing a pragmatic and lean Business Continuity approach. The Director will facilitate strong collaboration with business partners at all levels of the organization to support and ensure implementation of the Business Continuity Strategy.
The Director will collaborate closely with Group Platforms teams to define, implement, test and maintain the global Disaster Recovery Plans (DRP) by supporting the global approach, roadmap, back-ups strategies, on our most critical systems/applications. They will create a global overview on risks and existing business continuity capabilities and propose improvement actions for all our critical operations to reinforce their resilience.
The Group Resilience, Crisis and Business Continuity Director will continuously monitor and evaluate weak signals and potential threats to proactively adjust business continuity strategies. They will ensure alignment among business continuity initiatives across the Group and provide visibility to Senior Management.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have at least 15 years' experience in a multinational company/consultancy firm in the field of crisis management, business continuity, security, risk management, disaster recovery. They will have proven experience in Business Continuity Planning (BCP, DRP, etc.) with a very good knowledge of IT systems and manufacturing process. The candidate will perfectly speak and write English and French. They will be solution-oriented and hands-on with the ability to keep a helicopter view. Communication is crucial, therefore the candidate will master the art of communication and know easily how to build strong relationships internally and externally at all levels. They will be result-oriented and can handle critical situations. Experience in a similar role for Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Retail would be a solid advantage.
