About the Role



We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to lead our satellite programs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, with experience in managing complex customer projects.



Key Responsibilities




  • Manage and oversee satellite projects from initial concept to delivery
  • Drive project profitability, ensuring timely and on-quality delivery
  • Develop and agree project plans, including scope, key activities, deliverables, resource requirements, milestones, and deadlines
  • Lead a global project environment, ensuring coordination and leadership towards team members
  • Drive project execution, track delivery, and expect, monitor, and control change
  • Manage project risks and opportunities, driving rigorous change management and leading negotiations with internal stakeholders and customers
  • Conduct reviews to assess project outcomes and identify lessons learned for continuous improvement
  • Ensure effective communication with customers, facilitating timely information exchange and cooperation


Requirements




  • Degree in Engineering or Business Administration
  • At least seven years' experience in managing and overseeing complex customer projects
  • Relevant experience in contract and claim management, with strong business acumen and negotiation skills
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work as part of an international team
  • Appropriate knowledge of English, with other languages, especially German, considered an asset
  • Familiarity with modern Office tools and MS Project
  • PMP/IPMA2 certification considered a plus
