The Geneva English School is seeking a highly skilled and organized Accounting Assistant to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about finance and administration to contribute to the smooth running of the school.

The successful candidate will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer and will be responsible for accurate inputting of data onto the invoicing system, processing purchase invoices, obtaining necessary authorizations prior to transaction processing, and providing general support and advice for invoicing.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Accurate inputting of data onto the invoicing system
  • Processing purchase invoices
  • Obtaining necessary authorizations prior to transaction processing
  • Assisting with queries
  • Providing general support and advice for invoicing
  • Appropriate filing of all documentation
  • Dealing with miscellaneous duties to assist in the smooth running of the department

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in data entry, a high level of attention to detail, and excellent organizational and time-management skills. They will also be able to communicate clearly in English and French, and have a positive attitude and resourcefulness.

As an Accounting Assistant at the Geneva English School, you will have the opportunity to work in a supportive and welcoming environment, with a competitive salary and benefits package. This includes:

  • A salary of around CHF 45,000 - 55,000 per annum, depending on experience
  • 6 weeks holiday per annum
