Multilateral Diplomacy Specialist

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Multilateral Diplomacy Programme as a trainee. The Programme is dedicated to improving its training activities and providing high-quality services to our clients.
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to support the development and implementation of our training programmes. The successful candidate will gain hands-on experience in training and development, while contributing to the achievement of our goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting the coordination of training activities, including the preparation of training materials and logistics;
- Assisting subject matter experts in the development of participatory training activities;
- Conducting research and drafting project proposals for further collaborations;
- Adapting training materials and learning packages to meet quality and academic standards;
- Liaising with partner organizations and beneficiaries in preparation for programme delivery;
- Managing applicant and participant eligibility and registration status;
- Preparing key data, such as programme statistics and evaluation reports;
- Undertaking research to inform training tool development and exercises;
- Supporting the unit's outreach and communication strategy;
- Assisting colleagues with e-learning course implementation, workshops, and webinars;
- Supporting procurement processes, including purchase requests and comparative statements;
- Performing other duties as directed by the supervisor.
The tasks assigned may be reviewed during the contract period to reflect changes in programme needs and priorities.
Requirements:
Applicants must be enrolled in an undergraduate/graduate/postgraduate degree (within either international relations, education, history, law, political science, languages or a related subject) or be a recent graduate of the aforementioned (if selected, they must commence the traineeship within two years of graduation). Candidates should also have demonstrated interest in training methodologies, both in person and online; ability to write in a clear and concise manner, up to high quality standards; analytical and research skills; administrative and organizational skills to assist in the organization of training activities; digital skills (to deal with e-Learning tools, word processing, excel, power point, internet search, etc.) and a high level of individual responsibility, commitment and initiative.
Languages: A high standard in both oral and written English are required. Knowledge of French and/or Arabic is an advantage.
