Histology Laboratory Technician

CHG Labcorp Central Laboratory Services S.à r.l. is seeking a skilled Histology Technician to join our team. As a Histology Technician, you will play a vital role in processing and preparing human tissue specimens for examination and analysis.
Responsibilities- Process and prepare human tissue specimens for examination and analysis by decalcifying, processing, embedding, microtoming, and re-embedding.
- Perform automated and manual staining techniques, including ImmunoHistoChemistry and FISH.
- Maintain proper storage conditions and traceability of Histology blocks and slides.
- Perform slide scanning as required and according to protocols.
- Prepare workstations, instrumentation, and equipment for daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual maintenance.
- Monitor reagents, materials, and supplies.
- Adhere to safety and occupational health policies and standards.
- A minimum of 6 months of previous experience in a histology laboratory.
- Experience in FISH interpretation is an asset.
- A Medical Technologist degree (CFC holder, BTS, DUT, IUT degree holder) or Pharmaceutical Biology Technologist (CFC holder) is required.
- Fluency in en is required.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and adhere to Standard Operating Procedures.
