Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the application and notification processes in compliance with the Federal Immission Control Act (BImSchG), including the preparation of necessary documentation.
  • Address official inquiries and facilitate inspections.
  • Provide training, information, and guidance to organizations regarding environmental protection, particularly concerning BImSchG and related regulations.
  • Compile annual environmental reports in accordance with statutory requirements.
  • Oversee the scheduling and documentation of emission measurements mandated by licensing laws.
  • Conduct emission measurements, including sampling, analysis, or shipment of samples, in line with TA-Luft and VDI standards.
  • Supervise and coordinate emission measurements performed by external agencies.
  • Develop and maintain environmental databases and documentation.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree in environmental technology or a related technical field, or equivalent training as an environmental technician with relevant experience.
  • Previous experience in environmental and permit management is advantageous.
  • Strong ability to document and analyze complex processes.
  • Proficient in MS Office and SAP, with experience in database management.
  • Excellent command of both written and spoken German and English.
  • Valid Class B driving license.
  • Professional demeanor when interacting with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently while demonstrating initiative and teamwork skills.
