Operational Risk Governance Specialist

About the Role
This is a critical position that will contribute to the development of policies and governance documents for Zurich's risk management framework. The ideal candidate will have expertise in operational risk management principles, methodologies, and best practices, as well as experience in IT and cyber risk management.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement non-financial risk management processes in line with policy requirements.
- Contribute to the production of quarterly risk reports in collaboration with Regional and Business Units Risk teams.
- Support the Group Risk Reporting Team on operational risk matters relevant to the execution of the Group Recovery plan.
- Engage with Group functions and Business Units on potential simplification initiatives (internal control framework, risk management practices).
Requirements
- IT and Cyber risk management expertise is required.
- Prior experience in key functions such as underwriting, actuarial, finance, investment management and/or strategy is an asset.
- Solid understanding of operational risk management principles, methodologies, and best practices including knowledge of regulatory requirements, risk assessment and mitigation techniques, and risk reporting frameworks.
What We Offer
Zurich Insurance Company offers a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on location and experience. This role also offers opportunities for professional growth and development, as well as a collaborative and dynamic work environment.
