Principal Research Chemist

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Research Chemist to join our team at Siegfried AG. This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your expertise in organic chemistry and operational experience to drive innovation and improvement in our R&D and manufacturing processes.

About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the Product Leadership Team (PLT) and addressing production issues related to established active pharmaceutical ingredients (API). You will collaborate closely with various departments while considering production constraints, safety, quality, and environmental aspects.

You will evaluate the scientific relevance of laboratory trial requests within the PLT team, identify opportunities for optimization of commercial processes, and participate in optimization/improvement projects of established processes.

About You

We are looking for a highly structured and systematic individual with a PhD in Organic Chemistry and at least 5 years of operational experience, including both R&D and manufacturing, preferably in a CMO c-GMP environment.

You should possess strong communication skills, enabling you to work effectively across multiple departments, and be flexible, collaborative, and proactive in demanding environments.
