Job Description:

Geneva College invites applications for Spring 2025 instructors in the Tannehill Department of Business, Accounting & Sport Management. The selected candidate will teach in our undergraduate Accounting program - either our Accounting Systems course or our Special Topics in Accounting course, both of which are upper-level courses.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach assigned contact hours per semester.
  • Adequately prepare all course materials and lessons.
  • Provide each student with clear course expectations, evaluations, and timelines.
  • Provide interesting and relevant assignments for students that demonstrate learning outcomes in a real-life setting.
  • Suitably challenge, engage, support, and communicate with students to encourage their participation and learning.
  • Provide timely grades to students through college software.
  • Respond to student questions on a timely basis.
  • Ensure course and program learning outcomes are delivered as defined by the syllabus.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of a Master's degree in Accounting or a MBA with an active CPA license.
  • Eligible candidates must be thoughtful and articulate Christians and an active member of a Protestant evangelical Christian church.
