Accounting Instructor

Job Title: Adjunct Faculty, Accounting

Job Summary: Geneva College invites applications for Spring 2025 instructors in the Tannehill Department of Business, Accounting & Sport Management. The selected candidate will teach in our undergraduate Accounting program - either our Accounting Systems course or our Special Topics in Accounting course, both of which are upper-level courses.

• Teach assigned contact hours per semester.
• Adequately prepare all course materials and lessons.
• Provide each student with clear course expectations, evaluations, and timelines.
• Provide interesting and relevant assignments for students that demonstrate learning outcomes in a real-life setting.
• Suitably challenge, engage, support, and communicate with students to encourage their participation and learning.
• Provide timely grades to students through college software.
• Respond to student questions on a timely basis.
• Ensure course and program learning outcomes are delivered as defined by the syllabus.

• Minimum of a Master's degree in Accounting or a MBA with an active CPA license.
• Eligible candidates must be thoughtful and articulate Christians and an active member of a Protestant evangelical Christian church.
• Prefers candidates who support and have an articulate understanding of the Reformed faith.

Geneva College's Master of Business Administration program is globally accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs. All applicants must be academically or professionally qualified under ACBSP standards.

The courses will be taught on the main campus of Geneva College in Beaver Falls, PA.
