Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced IT Project Manager to lead our technical projects and teams at Interactive Brokers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT infrastructure and operations, with a proven track record of managing complex projects and teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Lead and motivate cross-functional teams, including developers, engineers, and other stakeholders, to achieve project goals and objectives.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders, including IT leadership, to ensure project alignment with business objectives.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, ensuring that all necessary controls are in place to minimize potential impacts.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to develop and implement project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, resource plans, and schedules, ensuring that all projects are delivered within budget and on time.
  • Provide regular project status updates to IT leadership and stakeholders, ensuring that all parties are informed and aligned.
  • Identify and implement process improvements, ensuring that project management practices are aligned with industry best practices.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in IT project management, with a strong background in IT infrastructure and operations.
  • Proven track record of managing complex projects and teams, with a strong focus on delivery, quality, and customer satisfaction.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve project goals.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate project risks.
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders.
  • Experience with project management methodologies, tools, and best practices, including Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall.
  • Strong technical skills, with a strong understanding of IT infrastructure and operations.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with software development, system administration, or design and architecture to improve availability, scalability, latency, and efficiency.
  • Certifications in project management, such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile.
