The Role

We are seeking an experienced Financial Manager to oversee the accounting and tax compliance of our Swiss subsidiary. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing of the entity, including trend analysis and balance sheet reconciliation.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing and filing VAT returns and all tax returns;
  • Preparation of annual Statutory Financial statements;
  • Overseeing internal and external communications (tax office, banks, auditors, consultants);
  • Overseeing Accounts payable and check payments;
  • Responsible for the controlling of the Swiss entity;
  • Assisting in the development of internal reporting and ad hoc analysis as required.

What You Bring

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 5 years of accounting experience in a similar environment;
  • German as a native language;
  • Professional Microsoft Excel and ERP knowledge;
  • A strong background in Swiss Local Code, Swiss GAAP standards, and US GAAP;
  • A high level of discipline, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy;
  • Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Outstanding organizational, problem-solving, and multi-tasking skills;
  • A team player with a positive attitude, willing to go the extra mile and help out;
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work with minimal supervision;
  • Management experience is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on your experience and qualifications, plus benefits including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off. Location
