Your Responsibilities
As our Head of Digital Procurement Solutions, you will lead the design, build, operations, and continuous improvement of our various digital procurement and marketplace solutions. You will be a key contributor in executing our Chain IQ Strategy 2030, aiming to achieve a market-leading digital procurement position.
You will be closely engaged with clients, suppliers, and technology partners to create top-notch digital procurement and marketplace solutions. The curation of content and supplier network, including necessary sales activities, will be a core task.
You will collaborate closely with our Category Managers to fine-tune specific category strategies, with our Client Engagement Managers to sell and implement our procurement and marketplace solution, and with our Digital/IT team to set up and improve our digital procurement offering.
As Head of Digital Procurement Solutions, you will lead a team of Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Catalog Experts. You will report directly to our Group Chief Information Officer (CIO) and be a member of the CIO leadership team.
You will combine your years of proven P2P/marketplace process and digital solutions expertise with excellent networking skills to create innovative digital procurement and marketplace solutions through solid engineering practices.
You will work in a fast-paced, highly professional, and collaborative environment that encourages the creation of convincing solutions that are in the best interests of our clients and stakeholders globally.
- You will lead the creation, building, implementation, operation, and ongoing development of our procurement and marketplace solutions.
- You will activate, build, and maintain high-quality business relationships with clients, executives, business partners, suppliers, and internal stakeholders in relevant markets.
- You will convince high-quality partners to join our procurement and marketplace solution and build lively professional digital procurement solutions that add value to all stakeholders.
Your Profile
We are looking for a senior, experienced professional with deep knowledge in indirect procurement and broad expertise in P2P/marketplace processes and digital solutions. You will like to take responsibility and work independently by applying a very structured, solution- and implementation-oriented approach.
You will value teamwork, have a winning personality, and a very well-established, proven C-level network. You will have excellent communication skills and be successful in motivating and convincing partners to join our procurement and marketplace offering.
You will have strong intercultural competence and experience with business relationships specifically with Romania and India.
- BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
- Excellent knowledge of indirect procurement, P2P/marketplace processes, and digital solutions
- Knowledge of industry-wide technology trends and best practices
- Excellent intercultural competence and a very winning personality
- Experience in leading and working in global teams to achieve organizational goals
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to present complex issues to non-technical users and influence change
