Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Material Planner to join our team at Jobs via eFinancialCareers. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading global life sciences company, driving inventory optimization, procurement coordination, and supply plan execution.

Responsibilities

  • Material & Inventory Planning: Develop and execute material requirement plans to ensure optimal stock levels, convert planned orders into material plans, track and report material availability, and define/maintain material planning parameters in ERP systems.
  • Procurement & Supplier Coordination: Convert material requirements into purchase orders, liaise with procurement and inbound processing teams, identify/resolve scheduling conflicts, and mitigate risks in material supply.
  • Supply Chain Execution & Optimization: Collaborate with Supply Planners, Schedulers, and stakeholders to align material plans with production needs, develop safety stock and inventory plans, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field.
  • Experience: Proven experience in Supply Chain Management, Material Planning, Scheduling, or Procurement, strong understanding of inventory management, procurement planning, and supply chain processes.
  • Skills: Proficiency in SAP and MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint), excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, strong analytical/problem-solving abilities with a proactive mindset, fluency in German and English required.
