About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Cloud Solutions Architect to join EPAM and support a client in the financial services sector. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in creating and implementing complex IT solutions, especially focusing on Microsoft Azure.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and refine proposed cloud solutions collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Ensure alignment with industry standards and regulations, such as GDPR and HIPAA
- Offer insights to optimize solution architecture and improve overall system performance
- Lead the implementation of Azure Cloud solutions using Microsoft Azure, AKS, and Azure Web App Service
- Supervise the deployment process for efficiency and cost-effectiveness
- Collaborate with teams to troubleshoot issues and improve system reliability
- Conduct knowledge transfer sessions and provide necessary documentation and training
- Mentor team members on best practices in Azure Cloud, AKS, and infrastructure design
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in information technology or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Senior Cloud Developer/Solution Architect in Microsoft Azure environments
- Expertise in AKS and Azure Web App Service
- Strong grasp of infrastructure design and implementation
- Ability to balance ease of deployment, maintainability, and regulatory compliance
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with teams and stakeholders effectively
- Experience in leading transformational projects and scalable solutions
- Proficient in English; knowledge of German is a plus
