Head of Property Management

About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to lead our Property Management division from scratch. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for building and leading a high-performing team, developing and implementing property strategies, and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement property management processes, guidelines, and structures
- Recruit and lead a team of property management professionals
- Prepare and monitor property budgets, payment transactions, and coordinate with real estate and financial accounting
- Identify and realize property potentials with Asset Management and optimize portfolio performance
- Ensure sustainable rental income, cost efficiency, and minimum vacancy rates
- Select and manage external property managers and represent owners in dealings with tenants, tradesmen, and service providers
- Support property strategy development, business planning, and multi-year investment planning
- Assist with due diligence in real estate investments and support construction project planning and execution
- Act as an interface between internal and external contacts and advise on property-related matters
Requirements
- Completed commercial, technical, or business education with further training in real estate
- Several years of experience in property management, marketing, and management
- Excellent knowledge of management, marketing, and regional laws and standards
- Affinity for digital solutions in property management
- Conceptual and analytical thinking, team player with proactive communication skills
- Self-assertive, adept at negotiations, decisive, and entrepreneurial approach
- Impressive planning and organizational skills, ability to set priorities and delegate
- Excellent command of written and spoken German and additional foreign language skills
