We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Category Manager Land Supply Chain Operations to join our team at Inter IKEA Group. As a key member of our Supply Chain Operations team, you will play a critical role in leading and managing the Land category business, ensuring alignment with our vision, business idea, and culture & values.
Key Responsibilities- Category Business Planning: Work closely with the Category Manager to develop and implement the Category Business Plan, driving business performance in all dimensions.
- Leadership and Management: Lead and manage the European team of Business Development Managers (BDMs) and specialists, ensuring performance in terms of cost development, precision, sustainability, quality, supply chain security, and safety.
- Procurement Process Management: Oversee the procurement process in Category Land, including procurement events and implementation of their results, procurement process, ways of working, and tools.
- Service Provider Management: Develop and manage the service provider portfolio to secure performance dimensions and internal efficiency, including service provider classification in Europe & Middle East.
- Network Design and Optimization: Contribute to the enhancement of the DORS model, setting parameters, and endorsing results, as well as leading and contributing to projects and global assignments.
- Leadership Experience: Proven experience in leadership positions within IKEA Supply Chain, with a track record of consistently meeting agreed goals.
- Business Acumen: Excellent knowledge and experience in meeting and interacting with external partners, as well as a deep understanding of the transport & logistics industry and market in Europe.
- Culture and Values: Inspired and driven by the IKEA culture and values, with a strong understanding of the company's strategic landscape, business model, code of conduct, business ethics, business year cycle, and governance structure.
- Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to interact, build relationships, and align with other supply chain functions within IKEA.
